Last week, we had the pleasure of attending Powering The Shift: On The Road in Toulouse, hosted in the unique setting of La Halle de La Machine.
Beyond the impressive venue, the event brought together key players in power electronics to discuss very concrete challenges: efficiency, reliability, and the growing complexity of power devices and systems.
For us at ITEST, these discussions directly resonate with our day-to-day work. As power technologies evolve, so do the requirements for characterization and testing, especially when it comes to understanding device behavior under real operating conditions.
Events like this are valuable not just for the insights shared on stage, but also for the informal conversations in between, which help align perspectives across the entire ecosystem—from design to validation.
To close the day, a guided tour among Toulouse’s iconic mechanical creatures reminded us that engineering is also about creativity and pushing boundaries in unexpected ways.
A big thank you to Avnet Silica and all participants for the insightful exchanges.
