BE2231 – Voltage Source: ±50V ±500mA, one output channel

The BE2231 is an isolated 4-quadrant DC voltage source delivering up to ±50 V / ±500 mA.
Combining ultra-low noise, high resolution, and integrated measurement capability, it is ideal for
sensitive applications such as semiconductor testing and nanodevice characterization.

Description

The BE2231 module is a precision ±50 V isolated DC source designed for the BiLT system.
It provides both sourcing and sinking capabilities, with built-in voltage and current measurement functions
and exceptional noise performance for the most demanding test environments.

Operating as a 4-quadrant power supply and 5½-digit digital multimeter (DMM),
the BE2231 offers 16-bit source resolution and 19-bit measurement resolution.
It features two voltage ranges (±50 V and ±5 V) and one current range up to ±500 mA,
delivering clean, stable power with no output spikes and very low common-mode noise.

Thanks to its high output stability, the BE2231 can drive large capacitive loads
while maintaining excellent regulation and low noise density.
It is particularly suited for powering and biasing noise-sensitive devices such as PLLs, VCOs,
and nanoscale or quantum components like nanotubes and graphene-based devices.

Typical applications include semiconductor I-V characterization, reliability testing,
and component life-test experiments.
Fully compatible with BiLT chassis systems, it integrates seamlessly into modular setups with Ethernet or USB control.
