BE2810 – High Stability Current Source: ±15A 15V
Very low-noise bipolar current source for demanding applications such as magnet or diode power supply.
Its exceptional stability, <25 ppm noise, and proven reliability make it ideal for particle accelerators and precision testing.
Description
The BE2810 is a high-stability bipolar current source designed for precision applications requiring
very low noise and excellent long-term stability. Operating up to ±15 A and ±15 V, it can safely drive inductive loads
from 0 µH to 20 mH such as magnets, coils, or power diodes.
Equipped with both analog and digital control loops, the BE2810 delivers outstanding stability and noise performance —
less than 25 ppm peak-to-peak. Its 19-bit programming resolution and 1 million hours MTBF make it an ideal solution
for critical systems where reliability and precision are key, such as particle accelerators or laser diode aging tests.
The module offers a programmable current slope (1 A/s to 100 A/s), real-time voltage and current read-back, and safe stop capability
even in case of power outage. Multiple units can be synchronized through hardware trigger, Ethernet command, or UDP broadcast,
ensuring perfect timing across multiple channels.
When integrated into a BiLT chassis, up to seven BE2812 or BE2810 modules can operate simultaneously, providing high current density
in a compact footprint. The BiLT system ensures 24/7 reliability with robust Ethernet and USB interfaces,
and full compatibility with ITEST control software and LabVIEW drivers.
For custom requirements or enhanced specifications, tailor-made versions are available upon request.
