BE2813 – Bipolar Current Source: ±15A 8V
4-quadrant ±15A / ±8V bipolar current source.
High-resolution (19 bits), low-noise (100 µA p-p) and low-drift (±24 ppm) source for inductive loads up to 40 mH.
Description
The BE2813 is a 4-quadrant bipolar current source designed for accurate control of inductive or resistive loads up to 40 mH, without tuning.
It provides 19-bit resolution (60 µA), 100 µA peak-to-peak noise, and ±24 ppm drift over 8 hours, ensuring high stability for demanding applications.
The module includes a programmable saturation voltage (1–8 V) and current slope (1–25 A/s).
It achieves a small step settling time of 10 ms (99.9%), with an available “tracking” output signal for current monitoring.
Synchronization between multiple sources is supported via software or hardware triggers.
A current waveform generator (up to 1024 samples) and a measurement buffer are integrated for synchronized operation.
The sampling period can be programmed from 5 ms to 100 ms, and measurements can be recorded over durations from 500 ms to 50 s.
The BE2813 safely handles start and stop sequences.
During stop, the internal circuit clamps the output and automatically short-circuits it to ground, avoiding any glitch when powering on or off.
